Here s an interesting and rather witty take on the banner ads we find on Internet. It s a move from Current TV called the Man Vs. Banner Ad.
So irritatingly ubiquitous these ads are that love them or hate them but you can t ignore them! Most of us have been their victims but fail to acknowledge that among our friends. After all, I would not like to be laughed at the prospect of being stupefied by some insanely simple looking ad-banner!!! But the reality is, we all have been there and done that. Only this time, some body cared to churn out a funny ad out of this situation. The Man Vs. Banner Ad has a racy narrative reminding one of Discovery Channel s Man Vs. Wild episodes. The witty part here, the narrator admits his falling for such spurious ads on Internet. He teaches us about those irresistible species of banner ads that are out lurking out there, to prey upon us every single time we decide to surf net.
Although there are hundreds of such deceptive species on net the narrator describes about only three of them, the most common and compelling ones! I had a hearty laugh and would suggest you too have a peek at it.
