Cartoons & caricatures sell. Agreed! But they might not be able to sell an idea as effectively as they might themselves become popular. Something similar seems to be the case with the print adverts of KIA motors (titled: Guy, Girl and Baby) done by agency Espacio Creativo, Tegucigalpa, Honduras. True the agency has brought out the funky cartoons, which even look cute, but beyond that the adverts have nothing to say or tell the customers. Only a statement: Change your ways. Buy a KIA. Fine darlings, but please tell us why we should change our ways and why we should buy a Kia? Or just because, you said it and it will sink in us? Huh! Poor execution of the idea is what is being reflected here. Definitely, Kia motors might have the power to surprise you but its adverts do not!
