Internet Explorer 8
The newest web browser by Microsoft, called Internet Explorer 8, clearly has an ad edge to it. We know how companies selling ads online can electronically gather information regarding the web surfer’s habit and then use the data to decide what kind of ads to show. This enables the brands to hanker after their target groups whether the recipients of the ads like it or not. But not anymore.
In the beta test version of the latest internet explorer, you can find the PrivateBrowsing mode. This shall allow users to surf without leaving a trail behind as none of the sites they visit get stored in the computers. Not only this, the PrivateBlocking mode also blocks third-party content from appearing on web sites. For instance, there might be stock quotes on a news site from one company while the weather information is tracked from another one. This happens because companies may be collecting and sharing the surfer’s data. However, with the PrivateBlocking mode you won’t see any of such content and will be able to save your identity from data collection without your consent.
